Andrew Kennedy Hutchinson Boyd
Andrew Kennedy Hutchinson Boyd (* November 1825 in Auchinleck in East Ayrshire; ? 1880) war schottischer Theologe und Schriftsteller.Er studierte Theologie zu Glasgow, wurde 1851 ordiniert und bekleidete verschiedene Pfarreien, seit 1864 eine zu Edinburgh, die er später mit der von St_Andrews vertauschte. Als Schriftsteller erregte er zuerst Aufsehen mit einer Reihe anonym erschienener Aufsätze in ?Frasers Magazin?: Recreations of a country parson (2 Serien, separat ausgegeben 1859-78), an die sich eine ganze Reihe ähnlicher Werke anschloss, welche zwar öfters anziehend, doch auf die Länge ermüdend sind.
